At Infrachain’s New Year’s meeting, the non-profit organisation looked back at what was a very busy 2020, despite the general slowdown of the economy.
Together with its consortium partners and fellow Infrachain members, the Token project was kicked off and first results were achieved; an EBSI node was set-up in Luxembourg on behalf of the Ministry for Digitalisation; the EBSILUX project was selected for funding by the EU Commission; the first Infrachain Challenge, a blockchain hackathon, was successfully organised – physical, not virtual; the annual Infrachain Summit attracted a large international audience and featured a great many quality speakers; the organisation was represented in the OECD’s Blockchain Expert Policy Advisory Board, the Infrachain members were an active force in INATBA‘s working groups,…
2021 will be at least equally busy as the organisation plans to launch new operational blockchain projects and actively contribute to the success of the Luxembourg Blockchain Lab, of which it is a founding member and driving force.
The meeting was also a platform for recently joining members Linksec and Stampify to present themselves and to get further details on the Luxembourg Blockchain Lab from the LHoFT‘s Emilie Allaert.
The conclusion of the meeting? Infrachain will make 2021 a blockchain year!
